Register of Interests

 

Councillors are required by law to make a declaration of disclosable pecuniary interests, and choose to disclose their non-pecuniary interests, by placing them on the Public Register set out below. 

 

The process for registering interests is managed by the Isle of Wight Council, who also host the information on their own website here. Guidance on why such disclosure is important to good governance and transparency is published by the government, as below:
